1. When will my order be dispatched?
We will ask you when you want your order sent. The dispatch date is the day we post your order, and NOT the day it should arrive. If you order cards which are to be sent back to you, we will also include a blank envelope for you to use.
The following dispatch dates are relevant to when you order:
2. How will my order be delivered?
Cards, A2 and A1 sized Wrapping Paper have the option of 1st class post or our trackable deliveries.
Rolls of Wrapping Paper and all Banners are sent by tracked 24 or 48 hour courier due to their size and weight.
All printed products sent by Royal Mail First Class mail - we expect 90% of all orders to arrive the next working day, however, it may take up to 3 working days to arrive, particularly during peak periods. Royal Mail first class isn’t trackable. If you require a quicker delivery service, you should use our 24 or 48 Hour Tracked Delivery option (see below).
Orders placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri) are sent out the same day (except Bank Hols).
Items sent 24 or 48 Hour Tracked Delivery require a signature*. To avoid having to collect the package from the depot, or it being redelivered at a later date, please ensure that there is someone available to sign at the delivery address, or have it delivered to a work address.
It is recommended that you allow as much time as possible for your order to be delivered and where possible you should include a Postcode or Zip.
Christmas Post Revised Information - Dated 8th December 2022
We are now only offering 24 or 48 hour tracked options for all our Personalised Cards, Gift Wrap and Banner using next day courier DHL.
We have always taken pride that we used Royal Mail for majority of our
deliveries. Growing up in a rural village in the Yorkshire Dales, our postman
was the backbone of the community. As a small business Royal Mail
offered a good service at a sensible cost which we could pass onto customers.
Unfortunately due to their current service levels because of the strikes
and heavier workload at this time of year, we will now only be using DHL for orders pre-Christmas.
We haven’t increased our product prices at Dom & Geri since it’s creation
in 2013, to remain competitive and good value for money. But due to the
current economic climate we unfortunately have to increase the postage
costs on our website.
We can however guarantee delivery pre-Christmas,
something we couldn’t with Royal Mail.
We hope that the the conflict between the Royal Mail and Communication
Workers Union does come to a agreement soon as the impact it is having
on small businesses like us has been devastating.
Tracked 24 Cards, Gift Wrap and Banners
We will be using another method of postage during the Royal Mail strikes time, so if you need things quicker please make sure you choose this option at checkout to avoid these delays.
Please note on the days before strikes and day of strikes, the last time for next-day delivery will be 2pm.
There may also be a delay of up to 1 working day with your order.

The best approach throughout this time seems to be to plan ahead and post
